nice I like this, did you try something new with this? it just looks different from the rest of you art.

bocodamondo responds:

was messing a bit around with colors

nice job! \\working with Charcoal is very interesting. what type did you use? vine charcoal, or the pencils?

Jom responds:

Pencil charcoal! And indeed it is :) I rather enjoy it though!

you chose quite the color palette. That's what I love about this, you chose to something more creative and different, and it came out really nice. and yes, I would love to learn more about the monster girl you've created, and the narrative behind the objects she's holding.

Sabtastic responds:

Thanks so much! c:
It was really fun to improvise.

The narrative is pretty shallow, but I was going for something along the lines of her having to harvest hearts and replace them with something else. The string is for when she stitches up her victims once she's successfully removed a heart. It's sort of unclear, but the thing she's holding behind her back is a knife.

I love this it's so beautiful and colorful, I wonder what type of paper do you use to paint on, because when I try and paint and mix in the water a bit, it make my paper soggy, i've used the sketchbook paper to do it.

RyanStorm responds:

I use animation paper to paint on. I don't use water terribly much, but it works well on that type. You can get about 500 slightly above average size sheets for $20

congrats on another Front page dude! you deserved it this looks really nice. Really digging the texture in this as well.

LemKuuja responds:

Thank you! It was actually a textured watercolor brush!

OwlPeople responds:

I know ='^]

the line work is sketchy and messy, but I really like the detail and coloring put into this

Conahugh responds:

Thanks, man. I didn't actually bother with line art, I went from rough sketching to water colours. This was kind of an experiment , since im not used to painting or using water based tools digitally, but I will spend more time on my other work, this took me only an hour to do with a lot of time spent on farting around with the colours.

Anywho, thank you very much for the review.

oh yes yes yes!! this is a great fusion she's so cute. now I'm inspired to do this as well, thanks

bocodamondo responds:

you should give it a shot, its fun

These will make some really good stickers, which comic con are you planning on going to?

Sabtastic responds:
